It was a rather cool night for mid-April; it was overcast but the full moon still lit up the sky. We had 37 participants and 20 starts for the 90-minute score course. Preregistration numbers were rather small but all but two of them showed up and there were four groups who registered at the event.

Jim Wolfe designed a 26-control score course that was mostly composed of relatively easy controls; however, there were also a few more difficult ones to challenge our more advanced orienteers. The course was wet with some muddy trails and required avoiding the missing bridge and the camping area.

We had a ringer from QOC (Stephen Pepe) participate; he cleared the course in about one hour. But Luca Rzewski also managed to clear it; it just took him 17 minutes longer. There were also several participants who came close to clearing. The results show how many controls each person/group found. One on the good features of the event is that no one was more than 5 minutes overtime; this made cleanup go quickly.
