Orienteering Meet

The day began threatening rain which was forecast. However, there was very little rain and a fair amount of sunshine. Nevertheless, the temperature stayed in the low 40's all day and there was a pretty stiff wind. Turnout was low, probably partly due to the forecast but also because Heritage is a long way from Pittsburgh. We had a total of 20 starts with 38 participants.

There were five courses set up. Jason Miller and Kevin Tucker ran as a two-person team and completed the Advanced Long course in really good time. They then set off on the Intermediate course also completing it with the fastest time, despite making a very large mistake. All the comments indicated that the participants enjoyed the courses; no one reported any difficulties.
