It was a bright, sunny, warm Spring day.
The woods were dry and there were flowers everywhere, a very good day for
orienteering and we had a large group of participants take advantage of
it. The courses took advantage of a newly mapped section of the eastern
part of the park; everyone reported having a good time. We had a
number of second-timers who first came to the Camp Seph Mack. The
club gained three new members: welcome to Rob Cooney, Sally O'Donnell,
and Barbara Johnstone. Thanks to Bryon Roland who helped putting
out controls, taking them down and in between ran the score course and
did some instruction. Thanks to Laurie Opila and Sally O'Donnell
who did most of the registration duties. Thanks to Jason Gray and
John Hartman who also helped to take down controls.
