Neighboring Club Events

There are four other orienteering clubs that are reasonably close by, within a few hours driving of the area covered by WPOC.  Each of these clubs puts on events very similar to those offered by WPOC.  Below, are links to the event schedules of each of these clubs and a brief description of the areas they cover.   Click on the club name to see it's schedule of events.

Delaware Valley Orienteering Association (DVOA)
DVOA covers southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware, and southern New Jersey.  They offer many events each year, 30 or more.  They typically stop in early December of each year and resume in March of the following year.

Northeast Ohio Orienteering Club (NEOOC)
As the name implies, NEOOC covers northeast Ohio, mostly in the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton areas.  They offer about a dozen events a year.  Some of these are specialized events, such as canoe-O or events indoors or with an Earth-day or Pumpkin patch theme.  They typically stop in early December each year and resume in February or March of the next year.  The link goes to NEOOC's  upcoming events page.  The page with their full schedule changes names each year.

Quantico Orienteering Club (QOC)
QOC covers Maryland and northern Virginia.  They offer many events each year, 30 or more.  They typically stop in early June and resume in September (too hot in the summer); they offer regular events through the winter.

Susquehanna Valley Orienteering (SVO)
SVO covers south central Pennsylvania, the Harrisburg, York, Gettysburg, Chambersburg area.  They offer about half a dozen events each year.  They typically stop in November or December and resume in April of the following year.
