It was another very nice day for Orienteering at College Lodge. The fall foliage was past its peek; but that actually helped by improving the visibility. A lot of families came to their first orienteering event; everyone seemed to have fun, with many of the kids just as interested in collecting leaves as in going around the beginners course. Special thanks to Andy Davis for providing refreshments and for getting out word of the meet which attracted many of the newcomers. Some of the more experienced regulars did not manage to attend; but we had a few competitors on the more challenging courses.

Also, thanks to veteran timekeeper Samantha Zipp and to registrar/instructor Loretta Opila.
