If you are planning to come to this event, please preregister at  http://www.wpoc.org/preregistration.php   Preregistration does not involve paying any money until you come to the event.  Also, the cost is waived for preregistered kids; so they are free*.

*Anyone who is NOT preregistered (including kids) pays $1 more than the normal cost and is NOT guaranteed a preprinted map. Each preregistered person/group is guaranteed one preprinted map. If a group wants multiple maps, it should preregister in pieces.

Directions to Hartwood Acres (east side - the mansion)

From PA Turnpike exit 48.  Exit onto Freeport Rd toward Pittsburgh. Follow Freeport Rd for about 0.5 miles to Route 910. Turn right onto Route 910 and go for 5.0 miles to Saxonburg Blvd. Turn left on Saxonburg Blvd and go for 1.9 miles to Hartwood Acres entrance. Turn right into Hartwood Acres and follow the red and white orienteering signs to parking.

From downtown Pittsburgh.  Take Rt 28 north  to exit 5B on the left, Route 8 toward Butler.  Go 1.4 miles on Route 8 and take a right on Saxonburg Blvd.  Follow Saxonburg Blvd for 4.7 miles to the entrance of Hartwood Acres. Turn left into Hartwood Acres and follow the red and white orienteering signs to parking.

Alternative: Take Route 28 north or south to Route 910 (exit 11). Follow Route 910 north for about 4.5 miles to Saxonburg Blvd. Turn left on Saxonburg Blvd and go for 1.9 miles to Hartwood Acres entrance. Turn right into Hartwood Acres and follow the red and white orienteering signs to parking.
