Approval of minutes of 12 November
2017 meeting.

Election of officer members
We need to elect the three club officers (President, Vice President,
and Secretary); each is for a two-year term. The current people holding these positions are Jim Wolfe,
President; Joe Logan, Vice President, and Jen Livingston, Secretary.
3. Resignation of a board member.
4. Report
on Past Year's Achievements
- 8 regular
orienteering events plus Ski-O at Laurel Ridge, Raccoongaine at Raccoon
Creek, Training at Deer Lakes, Night-O at Yellow Creek and Street-O in Beaver.
- 16
orienteering workshop exercises, including four in conjunction with
World Orienteering Day. Only two of these were open to the
public; others were for specific organizations.
- 3
other orienteering promotional activities.
- New
club maps: Several small maps were made for use in
workshops or other uses: Camp Hamilton, Camp Allegheny, Sts Peter
& Paul Church, Wilderness Lodge. Prince Gallitzin S.P. map
was extended.

to mention). And two more thank yous to Ryan Knecht: 1) He
arranged for his former employer to again donate $250 to the club and 2) He
arranged for his former employer (Wyotech) which is leaving Blairsville to
give the club two Lenovo computers with installed operating system.
6. Board Actions over the
past year
- Buying more
e-punch equipment: 10 control boxes, 6 control stands, 1 service card
- Buying 12 compasses and 50 permanent control markers
- Buying a replacement for the power pack which failed
- Buying a WPOC feather banner
- Buying components to make DVOA-style control stands
- Printing maps for boy scouts permanent courses at Heritage Reservation and Camp Allegheny permanent courses
- Making one map free for groups that contain at least one minor

8. Goals for 2019
- Hold
10 or more
local events, at least
one being training oriented; hold a Ski-O scheduled for Jan 6 (alternate Jan 13); hold a two-day Raccoongaine
(Mar 30-31). One regular event, Blue Spruce, is set for Aug 18; dates for other events not yet determined.
